Drawing from his own life experiences for inspiration in his music with compositions influenced by country, blues, and folk, Brantford-born Chris Strei has been compared with pop artists like Chris Stapleton, Tom Petty, Doc Walker, and even the Tragically Hip.
In March 2020, Chris's family welcomed and said goodbye to a baby girl by the name of Annabella. During the Covid-19 pandemic Chris took that time to reflect with his family. His latest single, following up his 2019 debut album "The Moonshine", is named after his late daughter, Annabella. It is a reflective tribute and vow.

Funds from this signature event go directly towards supporting the children and youth with special needs involved in our Recreation Programs at the Lansdowne Children's Centre. Every child should have the opportunity to be involved in offered community activities, to learn new skills to improve their social and physical development, and to be able to gain confidence to do daily tasks independently. They need our help now more than ever. You will see many of our children, youth and families cheering you on the Ride!
Our annual Lansdowne Charity Motorcycle Ride is now celebrating it's 18th year. The charity event was created by a generous volunteer named Bob Caissie (pictured on the left). Last year, the motorcycle tours raised $93,000 and will again be partnered with the Brantford Police, and will include a breakfast, BBQ lunch, prizes, live entertainment, and a police escorted ride through Brantford and Brant County. Recently added is our Bike Draw Raffle and a Silent Auction. Thank you Bob, for all of your past involvement with Lansdowne, and for helping it grow it into the event it is today! Volunteers ROCK!
