Following the provincial rules and regulations for in-person gatherings during the pandemic, the City of Brantford has advised that we cannot run it in the way we had hoped (in-person). We will now pivot and will run virtually for the month of July. Please click below for more details!
Jeff Harding, along with his award-winning trio BarCode, has been a household name in our local music scene for nearly two decades.
We are so pleased that Jeff will be joining us solo on Saturday, July 17th to provide some live entertainment for our riders and guests, featuring a selection of your favorite acoustic Classic Rock and Top 40 covers!
As this event has moved to a virtual platform, be sure to tune in on our Facebook event page on July 17th to hear Jeff play! More details to come soon!
This event holds a personal connection for Jeff as well. As an Autism Dad whose child has attended Lansdowne, he has experienced firsthand, the difference that the programs and services at the Centre can make in the lives of autistic children and their families.

Our Foundation Team consists of our Director of Philanthropy, Angee Turnbull (left) and Senior Development Officer, Candace Kingyens (right). With over 20 years of combined fundraising experience, we are here to help you raise your pledges and donations for this year's Charity Motorcycle Ride. You can connect with either of us and ask any questions you may have in the "Contact Us" section.
Funds from this signature event go directly towards supporting the children and youth involved in our Recreation Programs at Lansdowne Children's Centre. Every child should have the opportunity be involved in offered community activities, to learn new skills to improve their social and physical development, and to be able to gain confidence to do daily tasks independently.
Our Annual Charity Motorcycle Ride is now in its 17th year, and was created by a generous volunteer named Bob Caissie (pictured on the left). Normally, this Ride is partnered with the Brantford Police Family Fun Day, and includes a breakfast, BBQ lunch, prizes, live entertainment, and a police escorted ride through Brantford and Brant County. You can expect all of these great things and more in 2021! Thank you Bob, for all of your past involvement with Lansdowne.
